Job Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead multiple client projects and implementations, acting as the controlling authority for assigned projects. The role involves project planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, stakeholder communication, and ensuring successful delivery of AI/ML and data-related projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, software development experience, and proven expertise in managing complex projects in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong technical and functional understanding of assigned projects and offerings.
- Create, maintain, and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for all assigned projects.
- Lead project teams to ensure objectives are met and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Track, monitor, and report on project progress, ensuring successful project completion.
- Implement metrics-driven project management, define and publish project metrics periodically, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, providing project updates and addressing concerns.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers to develop their project management skills.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful project integration and alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure project funding and invoicing are completed on schedule.
- Perform any other activities assigned by the management team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development and services, with 5+ years in Technical Project Management.
- Prior experience in managing and delivering AI/ML or data projects.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong metrics-driven project management experience.
- Excellent leadership, conflict management, and team collaboration skills.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with multiple internal and client stakeholders, managing priorities, and negotiating effectively.
Educational & Certification Requirements
- Graduate with a technical degree (Engineering or equivalent).
- PMP certification is desirable.
