- Should be a developer grown as a Manager / Scrum Master Agile / Scrum
- Agile practice currently being followed
- Building product roadmap, backlogs and estimation
- Agile estimation techniques
- Agile / scrum metrics.
- Release planning
- Project management
- Good knowledge of software development life cycle
- Knowledge of T&M & FP contracts
- What is being covered in WSR
- How to check health of the project
- Project planning, schedule & cost / budget metrics, critical path
- Some experience on backend technologies such as .NET/C#/Node/Java/Python
- Knowledge on frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, Angular, react.
Seasoned Technical Project Manager with 10 to 18 years of experience and having minimum 8 years of Technical PM experience.
- Proven experience in leading team with minimum 30+ technical members with roles from Technical Architect, Tech Leads, Devs, QA etc) Ablity to Challenge technical team on the estimations with valid data points
- Demonstrate technical abilities during technical discussions with Enterprise architects, Application Architect, Tech Leads , SMEs from customer end Technical mentoring of team members to ensure team is on target with technical deliverables
- Go to person for technical team in resolving technical issues
- Create strategy, technical blue print, high level and low level design documents
- Guides and coaches the Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
- Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Hand on knowledge with Agile Scrum, SAFe Agile & most recent industry developments on Process.
- Responsible for ensuring team adheres Process,practiceand guidelines.
- Coaches the team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the team.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget along with desired quality
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Create detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Measure project performance and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions
- Report and escalate to management on time
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
