About the Role
AiFA Labs is seeking a motivated Technical Project Manager to join our growing team in Hyderabad. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on technical experience who are transitioning into or advancing within technical managerial and leadership roles. You will collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional teams working across modern technology stacks, including AI/ML, Full Stack Development, Cloud and DevOps ensuring seamless project delivery, agile process excellence, and technical alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, QA, DevOps, Data Science, and Product teams to coordinate deliverables.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Define, monitor, and report project plans, milestones, risks, and progress metrics.
- Support technical discussions, backlog prioritization, and sprint execution.
- Implement and improve Agile and DevOps best practices to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Foster collaboration between business and technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and accountability.
- Learn and grow under senior leadership, progressively taking ownership of technical and managerial responsibilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of total IT experience, with 4+ years as a Project Manager in a software development environment.
- Understanding of any of technical areas, such as:
- Backend Development: Python, Java, .NET, Node.js
- Frontend Development: React.js, Angular, Vue.js
- Full Stack Frameworks: MERN / MEAN, Django, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform
- Data & Analytics: SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, ETL, Data Warehousing
- AI/ML & Data Science: Machine Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), NLP, Computer Vision, MLOps, Model Deployment, Data Pipelines
- Automation & Testing: Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman
- Hands-on experience or close collaboration with technical teams across these domains.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning emerging technologies and growing into a technical leadership position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or equivalent agile certification.
- Familiarity with AI/ML project lifecycles from data preparation to model deployment.
- Proficiency in project management tools: JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello.
- Exposure to Micro-services architecture, DevOps workflows, and cloud-native environments.
- Experience in managing or coordinating cross-functional or distributed teams.
