Role: Technical Program Manager - AI
We are hiring an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional delivery of AI/ML initiatives. You will own program planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and end-to-end execution of model development, MLOps, and cloud infrastructure projectsensuring timely delivery, quality, and operational readiness.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML programs: define scope, build roadmaps, sequence milestones, and drive cross-team execution to production.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (data science, ML engineering, SRE, product, QA) to translate research and prototypes into scalable solutions.
- Design and enforce program governance: project plans, sprint cadences, release windows, success metrics, and SLAs for model performance and availability.
- Identify, quantify, and mitigate technical, operational, and compliance risks across data, model, and infrastructure lifecycles.
- Own stakeholder management: provide regular executive updates, align priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and manage vendor/partner relationships.
- Define and promote engineering best practices for reproducible ML, CI/CD for models, monitoring/observability, and post-deployment incident response.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience managing AI/ML program delivery with cross-functional engineering teams and product partners.
- Deep understanding of ML lifecycle and MLOps principles: model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
- Strong technical fluency with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
- Track record of implementing Agile/Scrum processes and using tools for project tracking and documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination experience, with ability to present to senior leadership.
- On-site availability in India and capability to work closely with engineering teams and data centers as needed.
Preferred
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent program management certification.
- Hands-on exposure to ML platforms and orchestration tooling (MLflow, Databricks, TFX).
- Experience with regulated domains (finance, healthcare) or model governance frameworks.
