Overview
As a Junior Project Manager with the IT Planning & Governance team, you will be at the heart of our technology operations, ensuring the seamless execution of our contract management processes. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who thrives on process and is adept at handling concurrent assignments. Your primary function will be working with the financial operations team to support the administration of our team's funding processes. We are looking for a process-driven individual who is excited by the opportunity to be part of the team that manages the operational backbone of our technology initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Funding Process: Assist with the facilitation of the financial administrative operations this includes ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained and maintaining accurate records.
- Invoice Management: Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and vendor agreements. Your focus will be on managing timelines, and guaranteeing accuracy throughout the process.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a central point of coordination, constantly tracking the status of multiple funding requests and contracts. You will be responsible for tracking down information, providing regular updates to stakeholders, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Process Documentation: Document and refine our operational processes to ensure they are clear, repeatable, and efficient. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to streamline our workflows.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering multiple priorities with minimal supervision. You are someone who is used to tracking multiple moving parts and has a history of successful project or process execution.
- Proven experience in a role that requires significant coordination and follow-up. You are comfortable tracking down information and providing clear, concise updates to stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with vendors, processing invoices, and managing the administrative aspects of contracts.
- The ability to quickly learn and navigate various systems and software platforms. While proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus, the primary skill is the ability to manage information across different tools.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment and to develop repeatable, understandable processes for complex tasks.
