Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to manage an efficient and customer-focused technical support team. The ideal candidate will act as a key enabler of technologies within customer development and manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for assessing equipment needs, providing prompt and effective solutions, and ensuring the team meets all service levels. You will be responsible for translating complex technical specifications into valuable solutions while leading a team and managing budgets to achieve business targets.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Manage and lead an effective technical support team, ensuring that customer needs and service levels are consistently met.
  • Act as an enabler of technologies in customer's development and manufacturing processes.
  • Support sales and application specialists by identifying customer pain points and aligning benefits to create value.
  • Manage cost and revenue budgets against annual targets.
  • Conduct team appraisals, establish personal development plans, and identify individual and team training requirements.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with internal processes and regulations.
  • Identify CQAs and link them to CPPs under the QbD concept.
  • Provide technical expertise in either Upstream or Downstream operations, with full knowledge of unit operational systems like chromatography, TFF systems, and upstream processes.
  • Understand the benefits of Single-use technologies and provide suggestions for their application.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, or life science, or an academic degree in biotechnology or another engineering discipline.
  • Extensive work experience in biopharmaceutical process development or production, with proven leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with international and domestic cGMP and other related regulations.
  • A broad knowledge and practical experience in mAbs / Vaccines manufacturing processes.
