Key requirements for a Technical Program Manager:
- 14 + Years of Overall experience in Software Development/Testing Preferably in Embedded/C/ C++ or Cloud (AWS/Azure) related Projects.
- Minimum 5+ Years of hands-on experience in Software Development/Testing.
- Preferably from Automotive Virtualization domain.
- Must have Risk Management experience in Program Management Capacity: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact.
- Must have knowledge of Stakeholder management (Customers/Vendors) Preferably from Japan region.
- As Program Manager, providing strategic guidance to project managers.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of project stakeholders, including team members and vendors, also Monitor Resource usage to avoid under or over utilization.
- Communication skills: He/She should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team, stakeholders, and other PM/PL's.
- Tracking progress, overseeing project timelines, and reporting on performance to ensure milestones and deliverables are met
- Allocating resources, managing budgets across projects, and ensuring funding is used effectively.
- Strong Experience in handling unexpected challenges, such as budget constraints, resource shortages, or shifts in stakeholder expectations, Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Organizational and time management skills
