Role Summary
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong experience leading hardware and system-level New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from concept to mass production. The TPM will drive execution across multi-disciplinary engineering teams (Electrical, high speed SI, PI, FPGA/CPLD, Layout, Mechanical, Power, Thermal, Firmware/Software) and ensure delivery of program milestones across EVT, DVT, PVT with high quality and predictable schedules.
This role requires a combination of technical depth, structured program management, stakeholder alignment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities
1) End-to-End Program Ownership (NPI / Product Lifecycle)
- Own and manage hardware product development lifecycle from concept through EVT → DVT → PVT → Mass Production
- Define and drive program plans, deliverables, success metrics, and timelines
- Lead readiness activities including design reviews, validation planning and manufacturing readiness.
2) Cross-Functional Execution & Coordination
- Lead cross-functional execution across:
- Electrical, high speed SI, PI, FPGA/CPLD, Layout, Mechanical, Power, Thermal, Firmware/Software engineering teams
- Test/Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Business teams
- Drive integrated schedules, dependencies, and alignment across teams and sites
- Ensure clear ownership, action tracking, and closure of blockers
3) Planning, Scheduling & Delivery Management
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules (e.g., milestone plans, RAID(Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) maps)
- Track progress against schedule, scope, and effort; drive recovery plans when needed
- Conduct regular program reviews, executive updates, and stakeholder syncs
4) Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Drive definition of:
- Technical requirements, system specifications, product PRD inputs
- Validation requirements, release criteria, and acceptance metrics
- Development roadmaps and milestone deliverables
- Ensure high-quality program documentation (plans, meeting notes, change logs, risk logs)
5) Risk Mitigation & Problem Solving
- Proactively identify and manage technical/logistical risks (supply, schedule, integration, validation, quality)
- Develop contingency plans, mitigation strategies, and escalation paths
- Lead issue resolution in a structured manner across engineering and operations
- Create CAPA (Corrective Action & Preventive Action) to identify the root cause of a problem, fix it, and prevent it from happening again
6) Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Serve as the single point of contact between engineering, product, manufacturing, and business stakeholders
- Communicate status clearly—risks, dependencies, trade-offs, decisions, and next steps
- Influence without authority; align diverse stakeholders toward program goals
7) Meeting Leadership & Deliverable Governance
- Plan and run structured meetings:
- Program kickoffs, design/architecture reviews, weekly execution reviews, validation readiness reviews, Monthly executive meetings, Change request meetings.
- Drive action items to closure with clear owners and due dates
- Ensure deliverables are completed as per schedule and estimated effort
