The Technical Professional Static Equipment is responsible for the engineering, design, specification, and technical support of a wide range of process and static equipment used in industrial and energy projects. The role supports FEED and EPC/EPCM projects and provides technical guidance while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design, specifications, and technical documentation for static and process equipment
- Handle engineering activities for pressure vessels, storage tanks, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, and associated equipment
- Act as responsible engineer for assigned requisitions with minimal supervision
- Prepare material requisitions, mechanical datasheets, and technical specifications
- Perform technical bid evaluations and review supplier offers
- Review vendor drawings and coordinate with interdisciplinary engineering teams
- Ensure equipment design complies with ASME, API, and other international codes and standards
- Support FEED and EPC/EPCM project execution in line with schedules and quality standards
- Guide designers and junior engineers on technical aspects of static equipment
- Support inspection activities, shop or field visits, and technical clarifications as required
- Provide global project support through short-term travel assignments when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an allied engineering discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in static or process equipment engineering
- Experience typically ranging between 4 to 8 years in FEED and EPC/EPCM projects
- Familiarity with pressure vessel and storage tank design software tools
