About the Role
As a Senior Technical Presales & Solutioning Leader, you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Delivery Head and Sales leadership to turn ambiguous customer problems into clear, credible, and win-worthy solutions. You will own the technical narrative of large and mid-sized IT services dealsfrom first discovery to final proposal submission. This role demands strong judgment, commercial awareness, architectural depth, and the confidence to take ownership in high-pressure, high-ambiguity situations.
Responsibilities
- Own End-to-End Technical Solutioning
- Lead technical discovery with customers, often when requirements are loosely defined or evolving
- Translate business problems into clear solution approaches, architectures, and delivery models
- Stay technology-agnosticrecommend what is right for the customer, not a preferred stack
- Define solution scope, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and exclusions with clarity
- Identify risks early and design pragmatic mitigation strategies
- Drive Winning Proposals
- Own the technical content of RFPs, RFIs, and proactive pitches
- Create and review solution narratives, technical pitch decks, and value propositions
- Shape differentiated solution strategies that balance ambition with feasibility
- Ensure proposals are credible, competitive, and executablenot theoretical
- Architecture, Estimation & Commercial Inputs
- Define high-level and detailed architectures across applications, cloud, data, integration, and security
- Drive effort estimation, staffing models, phasing, and delivery approaches
- Partner with Delivery to validate feasibility and execution risk
- Provide inputs into pricing, commercials, and deal constructs in collaboration with Sales and Finance
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Interact directly with customer stakeholderstechnical, business, and executive
- Articulate complex solutions in a clear, compelling, and confident manner
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during solutioning conversations
- Challenge incomplete thinkinginternally and externallywhen required
- Partner to Improve Win Rates
- Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Leadership as a core deal team member
- Help raise the overall quality bar for solutioning and proposals
- Bring structure, clarity, and senior-level decision making into presales cycles
Qualifications
1218+ years in IT services, consulting, or product-engineering environments
Strong background in technical presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting
Proven track record of building and contributing to winning proposals (RFPs, RFIs, proactive pursuits)
Experience across enterprise and mid-market deals
Exposure to global clients (India + international markets preferred)
