Job Description

  • Technical Support:
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to internal teams, customers, or clients, addressing issues related to systems, software, or hardware.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, providing solutions in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Monitor system performance and report issues to senior management for escalation.
  • Project Management:
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects, ensuring they meet timelines and performance goals.
  • Work with various departments to implement new technologies, software, or hardware solutions.
  • Help in the rollout of new technical initiatives, ensuring their success through meticulous planning and support.
  • System Configuration and Maintenance:
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.
  • Perform regular updates and patches on systems to ensure they remain secure and functional.
  • Set up and manage network systems, user accounts, and security protocols.
  • Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, such as system manuals, help guides, troubleshooting procedures, and reports.
  • Ensure all work is documented thoroughly for future reference or audits.
  • Assist in creating training materials and knowledge base articles for end-users.
  • Training and Support:
  • Provide training to users on the use of new systems, software, or tools.
  • Guide less experienced team members and offer mentorship on technical challenges.
  • Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting and escalations.
  • System Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Monitor system performance, looking for potential issues or improvements.
  • Generate periodic reports detailing system performance, issues, and solutions implemented.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in technical support, IT, or a related technical field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Experience with hardware and software installations, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Familiar with system management tools, network protocols, and security systems.
  • Proficient in using project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.
  • Other Attributes:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
