Role Overview
Radware is seeking a Technical Manager Rjio (Pre Sales) based in Mumbai, India to support Telecommunications customers.
This role leads technical pre-sales for complex, high-throughput environments across data centres, hybrid cloud, and service provider networks. You will act as the technical authority in strategic accounts, designing resilient network and application security architectures while driving deal success.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and integral part of the sales organization, leading end-to-end pre-sales technical engagements.
- Drive discovery workshops, requirement gathering, solution architecture design, and hands-on implementation for Radware solutions.
- Design and position Radware ADC, DDoS Protection (Cloud & On-Prem), WAF, Bot Management, API and Cloud Security solutions aligned to customer business and security objectives.
- Lead and execute POCs/POVs including installation, configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
- Deliver technical product demonstrations tailored primarily for Telco Customers.
- Provide technical leadership during RFP/RFI responses, architecture reviews, and bid presentations.
- Engage with customer SecOps, NetOps, Cloud, and DevOps teams to integrate Radware solutions into complex environments.
- Support sales team in customer meetings, executive briefings, technical deep dives, and onsite engagements.
- Architect solutions for hybrid environments including On-Prem, Private Cloud, and Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Work closely with Product Management and Support teams for feature alignment and escalations.
- Represent the organization at industry events, technical seminars, and partner enablement sessions.
Technical Expertise Required
- Hands-on expertise in Radware technologies, including:
- Alteon ADC
- DefensePro (DDoS Protection)
- Radware Cloud DDoS / Cloud WAF
- Bot Manager
- WAF and API Security
- Strong understanding of:
- Enterprise network & security architecture
- L3L7 networking, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS
- Firewalls, IPS, SIEM/SOC workflows
- Vulnerability, Web & API OWASP Top 10 and threat mitigation strategies
- Experience in Public Cloud Infrastructure:
- AWS, Azure, GCP networking constructs
- Load balancers, Cloud-native security integrations
- Working knowledge of:
- Docker, Kubernetes, container security
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments
- Strong understanding of Telco environments:
- Carrier-grade deployments
- High availability & large-scale traffic handling
- BGP, MPLS, CGNAT, and ISP architecture concepts
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Presales / Solutions Engineering / Solution Sales.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working directly with an OEM (preferably in cybersecurity).
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise and telco security engagements.
- CCIE Security certified, CISSP preferred.
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
- Experience handling large RFPs, multi-stakeholder engagements, and strategic accounts.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent POCs and customer engagements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Attributes
- Background working with MSSPs, large enterprises, or telecom operators.
- Exposure to DDoS mitigation strategies at ISP or carrier level.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
