About FlocknGo
FlocknGo is a early stage startup; a SaaS platform for experience businesses building
communities. Examples include Trekking, Biking, Workshops (art, culture, baking) and
even professional groups meeting offline. The founders are seasoned technology
professionals – Jagdish Belwal, ex CIO of Tata Motors, and Mahesh Gupta, MD of AI and
Innovation for Delta Airlines.
FlocknGo app is live on App Store and Play Store and is built on a technology stack of
Python/Django, Flutter, Web and is hosted on AWS.
About The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to own the technical direction of our platform
while staying deep in the code. You'll lead a cross-functional engineering team, partner
directly with our founders and product team on key decisions, and ship alongside your
engineers. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of
architecture, people leadership, and execution.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers across backend, web, and mobile
- Own technical architecture and key technology decisions end-to-end, balancing
speed, scalability, and maintainability
- Work directly with founders and product to translate business goals into a technical
roadmap, scoping trade-offs and timelines
- Stay hands-on — write production code, review PRs, debug critical issues, and set
the engineering bar
- Drive engineering best practices: code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and
security
- Design and evolve systems on AWS for reliability and scale
- Make build-vs-buy calls, evaluate new tools, and manage technical debt
pragmatically
- Be accountable for delivery, on-call health, and production stability

What We're Looking For
- 7+ years building production software, with 2+ years leading or mentoring engineers
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python/Django and REST API design
- Solid experience with React and/or Flutter, and comfort across the full stack
- Deep AWS knowledge and experience running services in production
- Proven track record owning architecture decisions and system design at scale
- Experience working directly with product and founders/leadership in a fast-moving
environment
- Excellent communication — able to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, bias for action, willing to wear
multiple hats

- Experience scaling systems from early stage to growth
- Background in marketplaces, logistics, mobility, or consumer apps
- Exposure to data pipelines, real-time systems, or location-based services
