What You'll Do

• Guide the technical team through customer deliveries, providing hands-on architecture and design direction across the .NET Core and React stack.
• Architect and own application deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including containerization, scaling, and release strategy.
• Own database design and optimization across SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Drive code reviews and enforce engineering standards for .NET Core backend and React frontend.
• Define integration patterns — REST APIs, event-driven workflows, and Azure-native services.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction across squads.
• Join technical calls with client engineering teams to discuss, refine, and align on solution design.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to work through complex technical challenges and keep customer deliveries on track.
• Evaluate and adopt tooling for CI/CD and delivery automation on Azure DevOps.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in software engineering; 3+ years as a technical lead or architect.
• Deep expertise in SQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL — schema design, query tuning, replication.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Heavy, hands-on knowledge of .NET Core (C#) for backend services and REST API development.
• Heavy, hands-on knowledge of React and full-stack application architecture.
• Solid Azure skills — AKS-based deployments, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Service Bus, Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience leading code reviews and setting engineering standards.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration patterns (e.g., DBT, Azure Data Factory) — good to have, not mandatory.
• Healthcare domain experience — HL7, FHIR, EDI 837/835, or claims data.
• Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert or Data Engineer Associate).
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, or Azure Synapse for large-scale data processing.
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or Bicep on Azure.
