Overview
We are seeking a talented Software Integration & Verification Engineer to join our agile, international team, working at the heart of distributed, mission-critical software platforms. In this role, you will contribute to defining and executing strategies for software integration and test, with a strong emphasis on automation, robustness, and performance. You will design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge test infrastructures and collaborate closely with product development teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our solutions.
In addition, you may have the opportunity to take on the role of Scrum Master for the squad, supporting agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Required Skills and Experience:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with the below Skills preferably between 8 to 11 years of relevant experience
Validation Expertise :
Proven experience in software integration, verification, and validation of complex applications. Knowledge of test strategy definition, scripting, and test automation best practices.
Test Automation & CI/CD :
Hands-on proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium), scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and integration of tests within CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
Test Infrastructure :
Experience designing and managing test platforms/environments, simulators, data sets, mocks, and stubs.
Dev Collaboration :
Experience working alongside developers in Agile/Lean methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Promotes shift-left testing and active participation in quality initiatives.
Manual/Exploratory Test :
Ability to design traceable test plans, write and execute manual test cases, and document results clearly. Understanding of requirements-based and model-driven engineering environments is a plus.
Reporting & Monitoring :
Comfortable with monitoring tools, tracking metrics/KPIs, managing test dashboards, and clear communication via Jira or similar tools.
Security Awareness :
Notions of cybersecurity in application and test environments respect of secure coding and validation practices.
Environment & Tools:
Experience with: Linux (mandatory) Jira, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell Test & requirements management tools (Polarion, etc.), Kubernetes, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, Cloud environments.
International & Cross-Cultural Collaboration :
Strong ability to work and communicate effectively in international, geographically distributed, and cross-cultural teams. Sensitivity to diverse cultures, collaborative mindset, and adaptability in global environments.
Mindset & Soft Skills :
Autonomy, rigor, analytical skills, curiosity, communication, team spirit, results orientation, initiative, continuous improvement. International team experience appreciated.
Agile & Scrum:
In-depth knowledge of the Scrum agile process, strong soft skills, and prior experience as Scrum Master would be a strong asset.
