About the Role
As a Technical Lead (Fullstack) at Sureify, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical
excellence across our product suite. You will lead a team of talented engineers, guiding them in
designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, scalable software solutions that align with
Sureify's vision of digital innovation in the insurance industry.
This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilitiesbalancing
strategic architectural decisions, mentorship, and deep involvement in the full software
development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, a strong
communicator, and an inspiring team leader with a proven track record in full-stack
development.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
- Contribute to hands-on development of critical modules and features across PHP, TypeScript, GoLang, and React JS.
- Ensure sprint deliverables meet quality standards, code coverage goals, and performance benchmarks.
- Conduct detailed peer code reviews to maintain high standards of maintainability, extensibility, and security.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Solution teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business goals.
- Own module-level implementations and document technical designs for cross-team transparency.
Agile Execution & Planning
- Actively participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and story estimation to ensure predictable and timely delivery.
- Drive continuous process improvement by identifying and implementing productivity-enhancing tools and methodologies.
DevOps & CI/CD Ownership
- Oversee deployment processes and ensure adherence to established CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with the DevOps team to streamline deployments and improve release automation.
- Lead release planning, ensuring comprehensive release notes and compliance with all standards.Performance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct regular performance reviews, benchmarking, and tuning to ensure optimal application efficiency.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues, ensuring minimal disruption and clear communication.
Mentorship & Team Development
- Coach and guide engineers and senior developers, providing technical direction and professional development opportunities.
- Encourage proactive problem-solving, risk identification, and structured escalation.
Documentation
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all architectural decisions, design approaches, and deployment procedures to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Fullstack technologies: PHP, TypeScript, GoLang, and React JS.
- Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
- Proficiency with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
