Tech VCC Setup Lead
Role Purpose
The Tech VCC (Value Creation Center) Setup Lead will drive the identification, design, and implementation of technology-focused VCCs across business units (BUs) and group functions. This role is responsible for shaping the VCC strategy, building scalable delivery models, and leading end-to-end migration and setup efforts, including the establishment of Technology Centers of Excellence (CoEs).
Key Responsibilities
- VCC Strategy & Opportunity Identification
- Partner with business units and group functions to identify and evaluate Tech VCC opportunities
- Assess feasibility, value potential, and alignment with organizational strategy
- Define the vision, scope, and success metrics for Tech VCC initiatives
- VCC Design & Roadmap Development
- Lead the overall design of Tech VCCs, including operating model, governance, and processes
- Develop phased implementation roadmaps with clear milestones and deliverables
- Ensure alignment with enterprise technology strategy and transformation goals
- Migration & Execution Leadership
- Lead end-to-end migration of technology services into VCCs
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions
- Oversee risk management, change management, and issue resolution during migrations
- Technology CoE Setup
- Define and establish Technology Centers of Excellence (CoEs)
- Design organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities
- Define service offerings, service levels (SLAs), and delivery models
- Drive setup activities including hiring, onboarding, and capability building
- Governance & Performance Management
- Establish governance frameworks to track VCC and CoE performance
- Define KPIs, SLAs, and reporting mechanisms
- Continuously optimize delivery efficiency, quality, and cost
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams
- Act as a trusted advisor on VCC and CoE strategy and implementation
- Ensure alignment and buy-in across all levels of the organization
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 1015+ years of experience in technology transformation, shared services, or global capability centers (GCCs)
- Proven experience in setting up or scaling VCCs, GCCs, or CoEs
- Strong understanding of operating model design, service delivery frameworks, and migration strategies
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs
