Technical Lead

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead with 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or product-led companies. The ideal candidate should have hands on expertise with experience in Go, Python, Java or other backend languages, and a proven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.

What You'll Do

• Own and drive backend architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
  
• Design and build complex transactional workflows such as payments, billing, user management, analytics, and integrations.
  
• Lead backend development using Java, Go, Python, or similar backend technologies.
  
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction across the team.
  
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
  
• Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, best practices, and tooling.
  
• Support infrastructure and DevOps needs, including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, and monitoring.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience, ideally in SaaS or product-led companies
  
• Strong backend expertise in Java, Go, Python or other backend languages.
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular
  
• Solid grasp of system design, API architecture, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
  
• Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of 6-8 engineers
  
• Proven experience leading technical initiatives or teams
  
• Familiarity with SaaS workflows: subscriptions, multi-tenancy, usage tracking, etc.
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and tools like Terraform
  
• A mindset focused on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement
