Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Project Manager (TPM) with a strong background in the
Telecom domain, who has hands-on experience managing complex software development projects using
Java and
C++ technologies. The TPM will lead cross-functional teams through the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring project delivery aligns with client expectations, budget constraints, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end software development projects in the Telecom domain, with focus on Java and C++-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, DevOps, business analysts) to define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee system architecture discussions, code quality standards, and technical design reviews.
- Track project progress using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as per project needs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure best practices in software development are followed.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and project delivery.
- Monitor performance metrics, prepare project status reports, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development and project management, with a minimum of 3 years as a Technical Project Manager.
- Strong background in Telecom protocols, OSS/BSS systems, network management, or real-time communication platforms.
- Proven experience managing projects using Java and C++ technologies in a multi-vendor, geographically distributed setup.
- Proficient with Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and project tracking software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of system integration, API management, and telecom product lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master Certification.
- Exposure to 4G/5G, VoIP, IMS, or similar technologies.
- Experience working with cloud-native architectures or microservices in telecom applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps culture.
