Role Description: Tech Lead

Shikha Labs is seeking an experienced and visionary Tech Lead to join our team and manage our front-end development efforts. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of developers, ensuring the successful implementation of our educational technology solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the technical direction of our projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable products. 1. Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
2. Technical Direction: Define and drive the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
3. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of features and enhancements, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
4. Coding and Development: Actively participate in coding, developing new features, and maintaining existing applications to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions.
5. Developing User-Facing Features: Utilize Next.js to create and implement new features that enhance the user experience.
6. Translating Designs into Code: Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality, efficient code.
7. Optimizing Web Applications: Ensure maximum performance, compatibility, and responsiveness across various platforms and devices.
8. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
9. Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues to maintain optimal performance and user experience.
10. Managing Version Control: Use GitHub to manage code versions and collaborate with team members.
11. Owning Product Features: Take ownership of the product features you develop, from conception through deployment.
12. AI Integration: Leverage experience with AI technologies to enhance and optimize educational solutions, contributing to the development of intelligent and adaptive learning platforms.

• 3-7 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
• Proven experience with Next.js and React.
• Strong understanding of front-end development principles, best practices, and modern web technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience managing and guiding development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact through technology.
• Experience with AI technologies is a plus, including familiarity with AI-driven solutions and their application in educational technology.
