Job Description

Job Role: ServiceNow Technical Lead

Experience: Min 8 years in ServiceNow lead only.

CTC: 30-40 LPA. Slightly negotiable for deserving candidates.

Role Summary

We are seeking an ServiceNow Technical Lead who will act as the long‑term platform owner and technical authority for ServiceNow. This role focuses on platform stability, scalability, governance, architecture consistency, and continuous improvement, partnering closely with business stakeholders and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Ownership & Strategy

  • Own the end‑to‑end ServiceNow platform strategy and roadmap
  • Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance across modules
  • Define governance models, coding standards, and architectural guardrails
  • Drive alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards

ITSM Responsibility

  • Own and optimize Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB
  • Ensure ITSM processes are ITIL‑aligned and automation‑driven
  • Act as escalation point for major incidents and process design decisions

HR Service Delivery (HRSD)

  • Own HR Case Management, Employee Service Center, Lifecycle Events
  • Partner closely with HR business leaders for experienced solutions
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, access controls, and audits

ITOM & CMDB

  • Own CMDB health, CI governance, and data quality
  • Lead Discovery adoption
  • Drive service visibility and operational intelligence across IT

Integrations

  • Architect and govern enterprise integrations using:
  • DataFabric, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers
  • Ensure long‑term maintainability and performance of integrations
  • Own integration security, credentials, and error handling models

Platform Upgrades

  • Own upgrade strategy and calendar (impact analysis, testing, regression)
  • Ensure upgrades align with in‑flight business programs
  • Final authority for go‑live readiness and rollback decisions

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor Teams
  • Provide technical governance to teams
  • Review solution designs, code quality, and delivery outcomes
  • Ensure knowledge retention within the organization

Ideal Profile

  • 8–12+ years ServiceNow experience
  • Strong architecture + ownership mindset
  • CSA + CIS certifications (Architect preferred)

Experience working with large enterprises
