Technical Lead || Playwright Automation Testing

Technical Skills:

·      Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for web automation (Mandatory).

·      Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals, POM (Page Object Model) or similar design patterns.

·      API and UI Automation. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for UI and API tests.

·      Experience with POM (Page Object Model) or similar design patterns.

·      Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API). Experience with test runners (Playwright Test, Jest, Mocha).

·      Experience with cloud-based cross-browser platforms. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).

·      Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for UI and API tests.

·      Experience with Git and CI/CD.

Core Responsibilities

·      Look at using GENAI to optimize automation test development and reduce test execution time.

·      Drive testing effectiveness in the scrum teams by working closely with the PO, tech leads, scrum masters, and the team members Cross Browser

·      Consistency: Test EDS components across multiple browsers, devices, and screen resolutions to guarantee reliability and uniform user experiences.

·      Collaborate with development, V&V, and product teams to understand system requirements, design specifications, and test cases.

·      Drive a culture of quality through different testing approaches like, design tests, exploratory, unit tests.

·      Work closely with PO and LSDs to understand the requirements and how it translates to feature file scenarios.

·      Ensure all deliverables of a sprint are adequately tested w.r.t the sub-system requirements to ensure robust software deliverables.

·      Drive the culture of quality within the team.

·      Write automated tests for applications and services under test.

·      Evangelize, strategize, introduce, and implement testing frameworks to ensure first-class DevOps practices.

·      Partner with team members to diagnose bugs/defects and develop automation tests to capture them and work with the team to understand the root cause.
