QA Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automation scripts using C#, Selenium, and Protractor.
• Enhance and maintain the automation test framework supporting CI/CD pipelines with automated smoke and regression tests.
• Participate in requirement refinement by providing feedback on testability and test scope.
• Document comprehensive test cases for end-to-end, sanity, and regression testing.
• Review and improve test case and script design collaboratively with project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Functional Analysts to clarify requirements and improve test coverage.
• Identify test coverage gaps, analyze defect root causes, and create new test scenarios to address gaps.
• Perform Web API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent.
• Use SQL to write complex queries (joins, subqueries) for test data validation.
• Execute, monitor, and analyze test results to ensure alignment with organizational quality metrics.
• Track, manage, and resolve defects using TFS (Team Foundation Server).
• Coordinate issue resolution with QA teams, developers, and product management.
• Perform manual functional testing when automation is not feasible.
• Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
