We are looking for an experienced WordPress Lead Developer with 8 to 11 years of handson expertise in the WordPress ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a strong PHP expert, capable of designing and delivering custom solutions while leading a team of WordPress developers.
- 8 to 11 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Proven experience building custom plugins/themes and custom WordPress solutions.
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, filters, APIs, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews).
- Experience leading a team of WordPress developers.
- Strong exposure to Agile delivery frameworks.
- Ability to own end-to-end delivery and ensure high coding standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of WordPress developers to deliver highquality solutions.
- Architect, build, and maintain custom WordPress solutions, including plugins and themes.
- Write clean, structured, and efficient PHP code aligned with best practices.
- Manage and optimize WordPress codebase and its associated plugins.
- Use GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development.
- Ensure delivery excellence by following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and scalability issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and QA teams.
