Job Description
Administer and manage Veritas NetBackup Master and Media Servers
Configure and manage backup policies (Full, Incremental, Differential)
Troubleshoot backup/restore failures and analyze NetBackup status codes
Perform catalog backup and recovery
Manage Storage Lifecycle Policies (SLP)
Handle deduplication (MSDP / Data Domain integration)
Perform DR testing and restoration validation
Plan and execute NetBackup upgrades and patching
Manage tape libraries and disk storage units
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents
Ensure compliance with backup retention and security policies
Coordinate with Server, Storage, DB, and Application teams
