Job Description:
- Design, develop, test and maintain ServiceNow application suite and integrations
- Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and performance of the solutions
- Build/update/maintain Service Catalogs, Record Producers and related policies & scripting
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and REST/SOAP APIs
- Implement and configure ServiceNow features such as business rules, UI actions, UI policies, data policies, client scripts, ACLs, notifications, workflows, flows, reports, and dashboards
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and platforms using MID server, web services, email, and other methods
- Provide technical assistance/guidance on CMDB, CSDM, Discovery and other ITOM areas
- Perform unit testing, system testing of ServiceNow solutions
- Maintain a working knowledge of all of the firm's Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request Fulfillment etc.), and how those processes are integrated with the tool, to ensure that the impact of a change to one module is fully understood across all modules
- Work with process owners, providing practical input and advice to help rationalize and improve stated requirements whilst at the same time ensuring that any changes do not detrimentally affect other modules or the system as a whole
- Adhere to change management policies, process and procedures to ensure that any bug fixes and upgrades are thoroughly tested in the non-production environments before they are released to production.
- Support and, as required, manage the ServiceNow upgrade cycle
- Ensure that core data integrity is maintained by adhering to a common, agreed taxonomy and naming convention
- Debug and troubleshoot issues and defects in ServiceNow code and configuration
- Document and maintain technical specifications and user guides for ServiceNow solutions
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other stakeholders
- Follow best practices and standards for ServiceNow development and administration
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements
Skill Set
Strong technical development and administration skills in ServiceNow
Strong problem solving and entrepreneurial skills to drive solutions to completion
Strong understanding of ITIL Processes, methodologies and its implementation in the tool
Ability to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills
Some form of customer-facing interaction or consulting experience is a plus
Certifications - Certified System Administrator/Certified Application Developer
Certified Implementation Specialist (Good to Have)
