The role requires fundamental understanding in AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot) with some experience in prompt engineering for legacy code conversions and AI code validation processes. Leadership capabilities are equally critical, requiring proven experience leading teams of 3-5 developers, conducting comprehensive code reviews, and mentoring junior developers on Spring Boot/Batch technologies while delivering technical training and knowledge transfer programs that ensure consistent enterprise standards across modernization initiatives.
