Job Description

As a Technical Lead within the FN BBN TOP DevOps team, you will contribute to the digital transformation of key R&D areas, accelerating product development and enabling continuous delivery. You will optimize software integration, enhance test flows, and ensure the smooth operation of CI pipelines through automation and cloud technologies.

You have:

  • Bachelor or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, with 2-4 years of experience in DevOps under Linux/Unix environments.
  • Proficiency in Perl or Python or Shell scripting.
  • Experience with build tools like Maven, ANT, or Bazel for automating the build process.
  • Experience with platforms such as OpenStack, AWS, KVM, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, as they relate to software deployment and integration.
  • You will contribute to improve CI cycle times and availability by optimizing the software validation and delivery process.
  • You will automate continuous integration activities, enhancing the fully scripted development and test environments, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Working closely with product developers, private cloud teams, and CI OPS to activate optimizations and enhancements in CI pipelines.
  • You will develop, integrate, and improve open-source tools like Jenkins, SONAR, and Kubernetes, contributing to better pipeline performance.
  • Manage and optimize build and test environments on physical and private cloud infrastructure, including OpenStack and Kubernetes.
  • You will explore to innovate or leverage existing DevOps practices and tools, exploring new possibilities in the Open Source ecosystem to drive process improvements.
  • Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge DevOps technologies and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
