Technical Lead

Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Liferay Developer / Senior Liferay Developer with 5-10 years of experience in building and maintaining enterprise-grade digital platforms using Liferay DXP / Liferay Portal. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable portal solutions, integrating backend systems, and delivering high-quality web applications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities Portal Development

• Design and develop custom portlets, hooks, services, and modules using Liferay DXP / Liferay 7.x.
• Build solutions using Liferay MVC Portlet framework and OSGi modules.
• Implement custom themes, layouts, and fragments using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Configure and customize Liferay workflows, asset frameworks, and content management features.

Backend Development

• Develop backend services using Java, Spring, and REST APIs.
• Implement Service Builder for database integration and business logic.
• Integrate Liferay with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and middleware.

Integration & Architecture

• Integrate Liferay with:

1. Identity providers (SSO, OAuth, SAML)
2. CRM/ERP systems
3. Search platforms (Elasticsearch)
4. Headless APIs

• Support headless Liferay implementations for frontend frameworks like React / Angular.

DevOps & Deployment

• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Manage deployments in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for portal applications
