Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead Golang Backend to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-performance banking and payments backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Golang expertise, experience building scalable systems from scratch, and the ability to mentor engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Golang-based backend systems for banking and payments platforms, from architecture and design to deployment and production support.

• Design and build scalable, reliable, and secure backend services aligned with banking and regulatory standards.

• Mentor, guide, and review work of junior and mid-level developers to ensure high code quality and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

• Drive adoption of microservices architecture and distributed systems best practices.

• Ensure system performance, availability, observability, and fault tolerance.

• Participate in architectural decisions, technical discussions, and code reviews.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of overall software development experience.

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Golang experience (mandatory).

Proven experience in building backend systems from scratch.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Backend Development: Golang expertise developing high-performance backend systems.

Databases: MongoDB (preferred) OR experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Messaging Systems: NATS.io (preferred) OR Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ.

API Protocols: gRPC (preferred) OR RESTful APIs.

Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cline)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Frontend: Exposure in Angular, React, or similar frameworks
