Job Description

Cradlepoint is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Technical Lead to join our dynamic software DevOps team. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, leadership, and strategic thinking to spearhead the design and development of advanced web applications, primarily utilizing React.js, while maintaining critical business tools. You will be instrumental in driving frontend innovation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Frontend Development: Architect and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js, ensuring responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of developers, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior members, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices, integrating them into the development process to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Contribution to System Design and Architecture: Actively participate in system design and architecture discussions.

What You Will Bring: Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, React.js & Python.
  • Experience with Micro Frontend and Micro Services architecture.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming (Python).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins script) and automated testing.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a mandatory fundamental understanding.
  • Exposure to security best practices in system design and implementation.
  • Knowledge about end-to-end tests using Cypress, Playwright, Robot framework, and wire-mock.
  • A strong commitment to writing unit tests first before implementing features to ensure functionality is well-defined and testable.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Strong development background.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the telecom domain will be a plus.
