Role Overview:

The Technica/Operationall Lead for Microsoft 365 Operations is a senior technical expert in the Messaging & Collaboration team. You act as the highest-level technical escalation point for advanced issues across Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and more), in your region. You lead troubleshooting, guide and mentor engineers, absorb knowledge during the transition from external vendors, and help improve process and service quality for a smooth, reliable, and secure in-house operation. Yyou will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of Microsoft 365 operations teams, ensuring smooth, efficient, and secure delivery of messaging, collaboration, security, compliance, and platform support services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the most complex issues in Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration services.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced technical incidents and service requests across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and related workloads.
  • Guide engineers in best practices for operational support, knowledge documentation, and runbook maintenance.
  • Lead technical knowledge transfer and process improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Owners and Architects to ensure operational practices adhere to standards, security policies, and compliance measures.
  • Mentor and coach other engineers, building technical strength in the team.
  • Support change, release, and testing activities by providing technical expertise and validation.
  • Lead daily operations of Microsoft 365 support teams across messaging, collaboration, security, compliance, and platform services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Mandatory Skills:
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the most complex issues in Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration services.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced technical incidents and service requests across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and related workloads.
  • Guide engineers in best practices for operational support, knowledge documentation, and runbook maintenance.

  • Good to have Skills:
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes in enterprise or global settings.
  • Familiarity with automation (PowerShell, Graph API), documentation best practices, and operational transition projects (such as vendor-to-internal moves).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience working in international or cross-cultural teams is highly valued.
  • Preferred Certifications or willingness to obtain:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Leadership and project management certifications

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Passion for data and continuous learning

  • Educational qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
