Job Title: Technical Lead cum Project Manager .NET Upgrade (Bookswagon Platform)
About the Platform:
Bookswagon is a large-scale .NET-based platform in the books and publishing ecosystem. We are
upgrading to .NET 10 for better performance and scalability.
Role Overview:
We need a hands-on Technical Lead cum Project Manager to own the upgrade from current .NET
to .NET 10.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current architecture and dependencies
- Define upgrade strategy to .NET 10
- Handle breaking changes and risks
- Lead refactoring, upgrade, and testing
- Ensure minimal disruption
Technical Leadership:
- Own architecture decisions
- Improve scalability and performance
- Enforce coding standards
Project Management:
- Plan timelines and milestones
- Manage execution and stakeholders
- Track risks and delivery
Team Leadership:
- Mentor developers
- Conduct code reviews
- Drive technical decisions
Required Skills:
- 612+ years in .NET
- ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#
- Experience in .NET upgrades
- SQL Server, Azure
- Large codebase handling
Good to Have:
- Experience with latest .NET versions
- Microservices, CI/CD
Domain Fit:
- Interest in books / publishing / e-commerce
Ownership:
- End-to-end upgrade ownership
- Ensure smooth transition
Work Type:
