Roles and responsibilities
Technical Skill:
- Balancing effective product feature delivery against managing tech debt and creating a high-leverage product platform to accelerate and improve many different initiatives.
- Guides team and acts as an expert for Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and monitors other engineers across team, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
- Guides teams and leads identification of dependencies and the development of high level design documents from system & product lens.
- Comfortable in adopting & leveraging AI agents in executing day to day tasks.
- Developed skill to manage ambiguity in projects lifecycle.
People Skills:
- Work in a collaborative team setup to model, coach the team members around best practices for Code Quality, Project lifecycle management and managing Scrum ceremonies.
- Guides partnership with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., product manager, design, ops ) to determine product requirements within and across teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science from top IIT / NIT.
- 6+ years of industry experience of working in B2B/ B2C product companies preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong foundation in MERN/ Java tech stack and modern cloud-native development on GCP / AWS.
- Experience of managing a team size of 4-6 developers.
- Experience in building quality products and services, preferably in distributed systems.
- Bonus - Experience of building a 0-1 product.
