Job Summary:
We at Accolade Electronics are looking for a skilled Technical Lead - Hardware Design with experience in automotive electronics to join our engineering team. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing electronic hardware solutions while ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance electronic systems for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic hardware for automotive applications, ensuring EMI-EMC compliance with electrical and environmental test industry standards
- Hands-on experience with design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and simulation tools (e.g., LT-SPICE, P-SPICE MATLAB) to create and optimize electronic circuits and systems
- Strong knowledge of discrete component calculations and finding appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet etc).
- Strong knowledge of DFMEA, RCA methods, microcontroller peripherals, analog circuits and digital circuits.
- Generate & review RFQs and BOMs for new projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to discuss design specifications, project requirements, and technical challenges
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience with microcontroller peripherals and embedded hardware design.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet).
- Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance and automotive industry standards.
- Proficiency in electronic design and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications:
- BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / EnTC
- 6+ years of experience
