Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in India for a Technical Engineer (Inside Sales). The primary responsibilities include providing technical support to clients, preparing quotations, and collaborating on sales engineering tasks. The role involves building relationships with clients, promoting technical solutions, addressing inquiries, and contributing to overall sales targets.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Inside Sales and experience in BIS, ISI, CRS, WPC, FMCS, EPR, TEC etc. preparing accurate and competitive quotations

Hands-on expertise in Sales Engineering with a strong understanding of technical solutions

Experience in Sales and the ability to achieve or surpass sales objectives

Background in Technical Support, with proven problem-solving abilities and customer interaction skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients

Ability to comprehend technical details and translate them into customer value

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred

Prior experience in the certification, testing, or inspections industry would be advantageous

Preferred Candidate Profile

Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B/Corporate sales with proven ability to generate leads, follow-ups, and close deals

B.tech in any stream is add on.

Exposure to certifications like ISI, TEC, WPC, BIS, EPR, LMPC, CPCB/SPCB is highly desirable

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work with clients from diverse industries and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive in client engagement

Key Responsibilities

Generate leads and approach potential clients (manufacturers, traders, exporters) for certification services

Follow up with customers on project execution, documentation, and payments

Promote certifications such as ISI, TEC, WPC, BIS, EPR, LMPC & CPCB/SPCB

Meet logistics companies, custom house agents, testing labs, and consultants for business opportunities

Support onboarding of testing labs and auditors for collaboration

Attend exhibitions, business meets, seminars, and industry networking events

Coordinate with internal project and technical teams for timely client deliverables

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: 18,000 25,000 per month (depending on experience / skills)
