Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration professional with a strong knowledge in Business development process to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in data migration projects, ensuring that data is accurately and efficiently transferred to the SAP environment. This role will also leverage sales experience to collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, ensuring a successful integration that meets business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and key business processes.
- Must have completed at least 6 end-to-end Migrations as a technical architect at client locations (Preferably in Europe)
- Design, build and deploy Data migration using BODS and other SAP tools. Performance optimization and understanding CDS view as a sources for the data extraction.
- Extract data from legacy systems to SAP or any Databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL etc.
- Lead team(s) in data migration and conversion activities.
- Identify SAP Data Migration as-is processes and to-be processes.
- Write and implement Technical Specification / Configuration / Testing documents.
- Coordinate with business or functional team on ERP business processes and data used for loading.
- Must have exposure to modern SAP tools like BDC, SAP DMC and updated on latest development in SAP space
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP Data Conversion and S/4 Hana Migration projects.
- SAP BODS skill is very important.
- Experience in Data profiling, Data Cleansing, Data Remediation.
- Having a high level Functional knowledge in multiple modules FICO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, HCM, VC, EWM modules.
- Presales proposal preparation
- Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Client internal external, Stakeholder management
- Strong working with SQL query tools, understand entity relationship models, SAP Data Model, database relationships, primary, foreign key relationships.
- Worked on min 15 SAP data migration projects. Completed a minimum of 5 data migration projects (end-to-end)
- Having a good Knowledge in cloud-based products SAP will be important
- Strong Experience and expertise in data validation, verification, and cleansing using any tools.
- Strong Experience and expertise with SQL performance tuning and monitoring.
- Ability to read and write complex SQL statements, including multi-table joins, nested queries, and correlated subqueries.
- Knowledge in any hyperscalers Azure, AWS, Google, Alibaba (preferred not mandatory )
- Knowledge in any cloud-based products - Salesforce, others. (preferred)
