Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
CCTV Coordinator to oversee and manage the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our surveillance systems. This role requires a strong technical foundation in CCTV technologies, including IP/Analog cameras, NVRs etc as well as the ability to coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and internal security teams.
Key Responsibilities
System Oversight & Operations
- Manage the end-to-end operations of CCTV systems, including installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Conduct regular system audits and preventive maintenance checks.
- Respond to technical issues, alerts, and tickets promptly.
Technical Configuration & Support
- Configure and optimize CCTV cameras, NVRs, and video management systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related CCTV issues.
- Maintain updated system documentation, configuration records, and technical diagrams.
Vendor & Manufacturer Coordination
- Liaise with CCTV manufacturers and third party vendors for support, upgrades, and new installations.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure proper integration and compatibility of surveillance systems.
- Evaluate and recommend CCTV hardware and software solutions based on organizational needs.
Training & Collaboration
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on CCTV usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and other teams to align CCTV systems with overall security infrastructure.
Experience & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven hands-on experience Proven hands-on experience in CCTV coordination, security systems, or surveillance technology.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV cameras (IP & Analog), NVRs, and VMS.
- Experience working with CCTV manufacturers, vendors, and integrators.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders.
