We are looking for a Technical Consultant with strong experience in Hospital IT Infrastructure and Clinical Systems. The role requires handsu2011on expertise in networking, servers, virtualization, OS/AD, and HL7u2011based healthcare integrations to support missionu2011critical hospital environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Network, Virtualization, Server & OS/AD Management
Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure including VLAN configuration and multicast networking
Configure and maintain VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines
Installation & maintenance of HPE ProLiant DL380 servers
RAID configuration, firmware updates, and hardware health monitoring
Windows Server installation, patching, and performance optimization
Active Directory administration (User/Group management, GPO, Domain services)
Ensure infrastructure security, uptime, and compliance
KPIs:
u2265 99% Network & Server Uptime
u2265 99% VM Availability
95%+ incidents resolved within SLA
100% patch compliance
Zero major security or domain failures
HL7 & Healthcare System Integration
Implementation and troubleshooting of Health Level Seven (HL7 v2.x) interfaces
Management of ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) workflows
Integration of Laboratory (ORM/ORU) and ABG systems with HIS/EMR
HL7-based integration of Patient Monitors with central monitoring systems and HIS/EMR
Ensure real-time transmission of vital parameters (HR, SpOu2082, BP, RR, etc.) via HL7 messages
Integration of Ventilators & ABG machines through HL7/device gateways
Monitor inbound/outbound HL7 message flow (MSH, PID, OBR, OBX segments)
Troubleshoot message parsing errors, delayed data, and patient ID mismatches
Coordinate with OEMs and hospital IT teams for interface deployment
KPIs:
u2265 98% HL7 message delivery success rate
Zero critical patient-data transmission failures
Interface deployment within agreed timelines
HL7 issues resolved within SLA
Incident Management, Documentation & Governance
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents
Maintain updated network diagrams and system documentation
Ensure adherence to IT security and hospital IT policies
KPIs:
100% RCA submission for critical incidents
Audit compliance score u2265 95%
Documentation updated within defined timelines
You're the right fit if:
5+ Years of industry experience with an Engineering degree.
Strong experience in Hospital IT Infrastructure and Clinical IT environments
Handsu2011on expertise in networking, servers, virtualization, and OS administration
Deep understanding of HL7 standards and healthcare workflows
Experience working with HIS/EMR, patient monitoring systems, lab systems, ventilators, and ABG devices
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate with clinical staff, OEMs, and crossu2011functional IT team
Certifications in VMware, Microsoft, Networking, or Healthcare IT
Prior experience in multiu2011vendor hospital environments
Exposure to 24u00D77 healthcare operations and critical care settings
