Technical Business Analyst

About the Role

The role focuses on defining, developing, and supporting analytical solutions while extracting insights from data to improve business decisions across various retail functions such as Marketing, Merchandising, and Retail operations.

Position: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required: 5+ years

Key responsibilities include:

Working closely with onshore analytics partners and business stakeholders to understand business problems and deliver data-driven solutions

Analyzing data to evaluate decision frameworks and identify meaningful patterns

Developing analytical solutions that generate actionable business insights

Providing analytics consulting to functional teams to improve business strategies

Staying updated with industry trends and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or Operations Research preferred)

5+ years of experience in retail or CPG consulting, business analytics, or solution delivery

Strong understanding of retail operations such as POS, loyalty programs, CRM, inventory, and customer experience

Strong experience with analytics tools and technologies including:

• SQL
• Python / PySpark
• Power BI or other visualization tools
• Power Automate
• Exposure to Azure Databricks (good to have)
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations
• Experience delivering analytical solutions in mid-to-large project teams
