POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst who combines strong business analysis capabilities with a solid technical understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations, and data flows. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, QA, and support teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.

The ideal candidate should be a strong Business Analyst with hands-on experience in requirement analysis, process modelling, documentation, and technical solution discussions, along with practical knowledge of SQL, APIs, data mapping, and enterprise integrations.

This role requires the ability to understand application architecture, integration patterns, and technical dependencies well enough to support solution design discussions and delivery execution. Experience in hospitality, travel, reservations, membership platforms, CRM ecosystems, or vacation ownership/timeshare is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Create BA deliverables including BRD/FRD, process flows, use cases, sequence diagrams, API/interface specifications, and data mapping documents.
• Perform impact analysis, identify dependencies, risks, and integration touchpoints across systems.
• Work with engineering, QA, product, and business teams to ensure requirements are complete, feasible, and aligned with business objectives.
• Support system integration initiatives by defining API requirements, validating data mappings, and assisting in troubleshooting integration/data issues.
• Use SQL for data analysis, validation, and issue investigation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and requirement clarification sessions.
• Support QA and business teams during testing and acceptance validation.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLSET QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst.
• Strong business analysis and requirement management experience in enterprise application environments.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON payloads, API testing tools (Postman/Swagger), and integration concepts.
• Experience with data mapping, system integration analysis, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
