Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Dhruva Space is looking for a Technical Document Writer to develop clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation supporting our products, procedures, and processes. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality documentation that enhances user experience and ensures compliance with industry standards, while maintaining accuracy and consistency across all technical materials.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creation: Research, write, and edit technical documents, including user manuals, assembly documentation, test plan documentation, process documentation,and technical proposals authoring.
- Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to gather information and translate technical concepts into easily understandable documentation for end-users.
- Review: Conduct reviews of existing documentation to identify areas for improvement, updates, or corrections, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Control: Maintain version control and documentation repositories to ensure that the latest versions of documents are readily accessible to stakeholders.
- Standards: Adhere to established documentation standards,
- and best practices to maintain consistency and quality across all documentation.
- Feedback: Solicit feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve documentation content, clarity, and usability.
- Support: Assist in the development of training materials and resources to support internal teams and external users in effectively utilizing our products and services.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years experience in technical writing or documentation in a technology-related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other documentation tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems is a plus.
- Abilityto grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly and to a diverse audience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
