Job Title: Technical Lead / Technical Architect in .NET, SQL Server (on-premise), and AWS

Location: Pune, India

Work Mode: Work From Office (5 Days)**

Zywave is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead / Technical Architect to drive the architecture, development, seamless integrations with multiple insurance carriers. This role requires strong architectural depth in .NET, SQL Server (on-premise), and AWS, along with the ability to lead engineering teams, design scalable systems, and ensure technical excellence across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the technical architecture for CPQ workflows and multi-carrier integrations.
  • Architect and develop backend services, APIs, and integration layers using .NET / .NET Core.
  • Design, optimize, and manage SQL Server (on-premise) including data models, performance tuning, and stored procedures.
  • Define and manage AWS deployment architecture including availability, monitoring, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide hands-on leadershipguiding engineers, conducting code and design reviews, and enforcing technical best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Enterprise Architecture, QA, and Carrier Integration teams to ensure solution alignment.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive long-term platform improvements.
  • Establish coding, architecture, and documentation standards across the engineering team.
  • Stay current with advancements in cloud computing, API design, and AI-driven enhancements to drive modernization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 814 years of experience in software engineering with 35+ years in a technical lead or architecture role.
  • Proven experience designing or leading CPQ systems or carrier integration workflows (insurance domain preferred).
  • Strong architectural understanding of microservices, distributed systems, integration patterns, and API security.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence engineering direction.
