Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Technical Architect with over 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Tavant Technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric and its ecosystem, along with a proven track record in designing and implementing data solutions using advanced data technologies. You will be responsible for leading architecture discussions, defining best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of data projects that leverage Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and robust data modeling techniques.

Skills and Tools Required:

Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric and its components.

Experience building Semantic Leyer

Experience in Power BI

Proficiency in PySpark for data processing and analytics.

Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating data workflows.

Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and tools.

Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to design complex data solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.

Familiarity with data governance and regulatory compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric that meet business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and implement data architecture strategies.

Lead the development of data pipelines and ETL processes using PySpark and Azure Data Factory.

Create and maintain comprehensive data models that support analytics and reporting needs.

Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure best practices in data governance, data quality, and performance optimization are adhered to.

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data architecture and analytics.
