About the Role

We're hiring an Architect / Senior Architect to define and drive the technical architecture for scalable, high-performance full-stack systems across UI, Mobile, APIs and backend services. You will partner with Engineering and Product leaders to set technical direction, raise engineering standards, and deliver resilient platforms.

Level will be determined based on experience and impact. The role is expected to be 20–30% hands-on (design reviews, POCs, and solving complex technical problems alongside teams).

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end system architecture across application, backend, and platform layers
• Design and scale distributed, microservices-based systems with high reliability and performance
• Make key technology choices (tech stack, databases, build vs. buy) and lead technology evolution and upgrades
• Architect systems with security-first principles (data protection, authentication/authorization, compliance, secure design)
• Define and guide integration with data platform architecture (batch, streaming, ingestion, data lakes)
• Provide direction on cloud architecture and platform choices (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Drive architecture reviews, design standards, and best practices across teams
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Leadership to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Contribute hands-on (20–30%) to critical design, POCs, and complex problem solving
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve design quality, development velocity, and engineering productivity

Must-Have

• Experience in a product company or high-growth startup (mandatory)
• Strong experience designing scalable distributed systems
• Deep expertise in at least one of Java, Python, or Go building microservices-based architectures
• Strong understanding of full-stack systems (UI + backend integration)
• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern engineering practices: DevOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools in daily workflows
• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech from reputed institutions

Good to Have

• Strong experience in system design, performance engineering, and reliability engineering
• Experience building high-scale consumer or SaaS platforms
• Experience with modern data platforms (batch/streaming ingestion, data lakes)
