Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire implementations, upgrades, and integrations within the Insurance industry.
- Proven expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter (CC), PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and end-to-end architecture ownership.
- Deep understanding of Guidewire configuration, GOSU programming, and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Strong experience with Guidewire Cloud, Edge APIs, and hybrid/cloud deployment models.
- Familiarity with industry trends such as AI/ML integration, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and own the technical architecture, blueprints, and strategic roadmap for Guidewire ClaimCenter and related modules.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Develop technical strategies to address evolving business needs and emerging industry trends.
- Evaluate new Guidewire features/modules for strategic adoption.
Implementation & Delivery:
- Lead large-scale Guidewire projects, including greenfield implementations, upgrades, and cloud migrations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA, and Development teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of requirements.
- Provide technical guidance during solution design, development, and deployment phases.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor development teams for quality and maintainability.
Technical Solutioning & Integration:
- Design and implement web services (REST/SOAP), data models, and microservices architectures.
- Define non-functional requirements such as performance, security, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery.
- Ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements effectively.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and stakeholders, articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and resource optimization.
- Monitor adherence to best practices, coding standards, and documentation quality.
- Foster collaboration across teams and ensure alignment on project goals.
Documentation & Best Practices:
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture designs, integration guides, and deployment procedures.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of coding standards and best practices.
