Role Summary

The MuleSoft Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing enterprise‑grade integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role focuses on API‑led connectivity, scalable and secure integration architectures, and supporting complex digital transformation programs across large enterprise and multi‑vendor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (MuleSoft 4.x)
• Define target integration architectures and roadmaps aligned with digital transformation initiatives
• Design and govern API‑led connectivity, microservices, and event‑driven architectures
• Establish best practices, standards, and governance models for MuleSoft implementations
• Translate business and non‑functional requirements into robust, scalable integration designs
• Provide architectural oversight and technical leadership across integration delivery teams
• Collaborate with business, application, data, and infrastructure teams in complex enterprise environments
• Support integration across diverse systems including CMS, mobile, ERP, CRM, third party system and cloud platforms

Technical Skills & Expertise

MuleSoft & Integration Architecture

• Strong experience as a MuleSoft Architect with MuleSoft 4.x
• Deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Strong understanding of API‑led connectivity, including Experience, Process, and System APIs
• Hands‑on experience designing microservices and event‑driven architectures using MuleSoft

API & Integration Development

• Hands‑on experience with:
• RAML / OpenAPI specifications
• DataWeave
• RESTful and asynchronous integrations
• Proven experience integrating:
• CMS platforms
• Mobile applications
• ERP and CRM systems
• Cloud and third‑party services

Non‑Functional & Architectural Concerns

• Strong knowledge of non‑functional requirements, including:
• Availability
• Resilience
• Throughput
• Security
• Solid understanding of security, performance, and scalability principles in enterprise integrations

Enterprise & Program Experience

• Experience working in digital transformation programs involving enterprise‑grade middleware (preferably MuleSoft)
• Proven experience in large enterprise and multi‑vendor environments
• Ability to work across distributed teams and multiple stakeholders
• Experience defining long‑term integration strategies, patterns, and roadmaps

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience in enterprise integration architecture and solution design
• Strong documentation and architectural communication skills
• Ability to mentor teams and provide architectural governance throughout delivery
