Overview of the Role
The Pega Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing enterprise-level Pega solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards. The position demands deep expertise in Pega platform architecture, process automation, and strategic system integration. The architect will be instrumental in translating business requirements into scalable, robust, and innovative Pega applications that drive organizational efficiency and digital transformation.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of Pega-based solutions, ensuring best practices and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Pega applications, including workflow automation, case management, and integration with legacy systems.
- Guide and mentor development teams, providing technical direction, code reviews, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Develop reusable components, frameworks, and templates to accelerate project delivery and maintain consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of architectures, designs, and system configurations.
- Ensure adherence to security, data privacy, and compliance requirements within Pega solutions.
- Participate in regular status meetings, providing progress reports and technical insights to stakeholders.
Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying Pega solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Pega PRPC concepts, case management, and integration frameworks.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, database management, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional technical teams.
