The ERP TM ABAP Technical Architect will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions in the Transport Management System (TMS) space in S/4HANA. This role involves working closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to design, develop, and support custom developments and enhancements in SAP TMS on S/4HANA.
- Substantial experience with SAP ABAP.
- Technical Analysis, Designing, Reviews, testing an implementation of SAP developments, ranging from small enhancements to large projects.
- Good Cross-functional knowledge in Sales, Marketing, Logistics especially TMS and their use of data.
- Ability to write and validate the technical specification and able to create test Scripts.
- Will work closely with the Business solutions group, to complete on demand work requests, as well as being assigned for large scale SAP cross functional project Projects.
- Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality/modifications and perform application research.
- The Job role involves all phases of the project - Requirement gathering, Estimation, Project Planning, Execution, Go-live and Support.
- Ability to help resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.
- Proven success designing and developing SAP solutions on the SAP ECC platform.
- Strong oral and written communication ability.
- Ensure compliance to existing and development of required data and reporting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or Computer Science
- 7+ years overall SAP experience with minimum 2 End to End Implementations and at least 2 Support Projects
- TMS on S/4 2021 working experience is a must.
- Fiori experience is considered.
- Independent working experience with TMS technical objects and ABAP on HANA techniques
- Should have thorough knowledge on Reports, RFCs, Forms, OOPS ABAP, BAPI, Enhancements, BADI, Data conversions - BDC, LSMW, IDOC's, ALE & Workflows
- Experience in Proxy & Web Services.
- Experience in XML integration and troubleshooting through SXMB_MONI.
- Experience in working with SAP PI, GXS.
- Experience in BOPF & Fiori App developments and enhancements.
- Experience in POWL enhancements, CVI (Customer Vendor Integration) and DRF (Data Replication Framework).
- Experience in PPF and Output Management enhancements.
- Experience in TMS - ECC/EWM Integration
- Must be good at Testing and Debugging procedures.
- Must be able to evaluate user requirements relative to current application functionality.
- Requires clear written and verbal communication in a technical context.
- Able to work with Business, Functional and Technical Teams
- Proven ability Delivering complex and Time sensitive projects
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems.
