Technical Architect (DW, J2ee, AWS, DevOps, Architectural Design)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join our team at Crisil, a data-centric organization. As a Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions capable of handling large data sets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Responsibilities:

•  Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that can handle large data sets.
•  Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
•  Review and fine-tune existing applications to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
•  Collaborate with the central architecture team to construct best coding practices, principles, and guidelines for developers.
•  Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
•  Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve system performance, scalability, and security.
•  Lead the design and implementation of large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
•  Mentor and guide junior technical staff, providing technical guidance and oversight.
•  Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies and make recommendations for adoption.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
•  At least 10-15 years of experience in Software development, with at least 5 years of experience in technical architecture or a related field.

Technical Skills:

•  Strong understanding of software architecture principles and patterns.
•  Proficiency in Java programming language and Java-based technologies, including Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Java EE and front-end technologies like Angular, React.
•  Understanding of multiple other programming languages, including Python, Scala and PySpark.
•  Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. 
•  In-depth knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
•  Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
•  Practical experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.

•  Proven experience leading technical teams and projects
•  Strong communication and collaboration skills
•  Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders

Soft Skills:
•  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements

Nice to Have:
•  Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
•  Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.
•  Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence ,Gen AI.
•  Certification in Java development or technical architecture Like TOGAF.
•  Experience with agile development methodologies.
